About Me
I love the moment before the good idea.
The part where you’re staring at a mess of research, half-formed thoughts, competing opinions and way too many tabs, and suddenly the thing becomes clear.
That’s probably why I became a writer and creative director. I like finding the idea hiding underneath all the information, then figuring out the simplest, sharpest way to say it. I’m endlessly curious, allergic to filler, and happiest working with smart people who care more about making something great than protecting their own ideas.
Outside of advertising, I write literary nonfiction. I was a 2025 Yaddo Fellow, and my work has appeared in The Journal, Faultline, Ocean State Review, Off Assignment and elsewhere. I think the two kinds of writing have more in common than they’re given credit for: pay close attention, find what’s actually true, and don’t waste the reader’s time.
